Email signature taglines

A simple way to remind those inside and outside your organization about the Day of Mourning is to add a tagline to your email signatures. Make your own or choose from the following:

On April 28, you can share an email with all employees to remind them to take a moment to honour the day. Here is a template to use or create your own:

Today we join employers throughout Nova Scotia and across the country in observing the National Day of Mourning. This is a day to pause and remember of the need to take action to prevent injuries and to reduce the real-life impact that results from unsafe workplaces. The Day of Mourning is an important reminder of the need to reduce the human devastation that results from unsafe workplaces.
