Steps for Life is a 5-km fundraising walk to help support families who have suffered from a workplace
fatality, life-altering injury or occupational disease.
Traditionally held on the first Sunday in May, Steps for Life is a chance for families, friends, co-workers and employers to raise awareness of about the importance of workplace health and safety and to raise funds for Threads of Life support programs and services.
You can support families affected by workplace tragedy by walking, registering a team, sponsoring a walker or committing to be an event sponsor.
The following Nova Scotia communities will be hosting a Steps for Life walk:
Halifax - Sunday May 5 - Point Pleasant Park, registration - 1 p.m., walk - 2 p.m.
